Neighbourhood Youth are back with a new music video accompany what’s proven to be a solid return to form in their single, “Lately”. The Melbourne group have been working on refining their live presence recently as part of the ‘Up the Guts’ tour, which has taken them from Melbourne right through to Darwin and in the infectious nature of “Lately”, we’re getting an insight into just how developed Neighbourhood Youth have become, musically.
The songwriting is clever and more nuanced than we’ve heard from the band in the past, while the music video (directed by Gina Somfleth) brings the audience further into the Neighbourhood Youth fold in documenting their recent travels through Australian terrain.
