New York trio Sunflower Bean have been continuing to lap up the praise their debut album Human Ceremony has been attracting and rightly so, it’s a goddamn killer introduction to the psych-rockers who’ve gone from establishing themselves as one of Brooklyn’s sharpest tools in the shed, to being lauded on massive festival stages like most recently, Lollapalooza and Bonnaroo.
Their latest music video, for single “Come On”, had the band work with director Ruby June once again (the artist also shot their album cover) and like her vision for Human Ceremony, she delivers again. Landing its official premiere with Pitchfork this week, “Come On” is fun and catchy as hell; from the percussion to Julia Cumming‘s vocals, this is an utter gem of a tune.
