Music Video of the Day: Towne “The One I Love” (2016)

Are they folk-pop? Are they country-pop? Regardless, Towne come packing with a lot of soul that’s irresistible. Debut EP Games We Play is an impressive outing for the US duo, with single “The One I Love” standing out from the jump. Melodic and strongly led by Steevie Steeves‘ vocal, the song now has a music video, securing its international premiere over the weekend.

With influences like Fleetwood Mac and Carole King firmly in the arsenal, there’s an expectation you’re going to have going into this music but it’s still fresh and carved from some pristinely woven pop fabric.
