Over the last 5 years, we’ve had the incredible opportunity to cover one of Australia’s finest annual festivals – the Byron Bay Blues and Roots Festival… more lovingly referred to, simply, as “Bluesfest“.
Easter weekend in 2014 will mark our fifth year covering the event, and we’re thrilled to be returning to cover bands like the Dave Matthews Band, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes, Devendra Banhart, Iron & Wine, Morcheeba, John Mayer and many, many more. And that’s just the first announcement! Some of the biggest names are yet to come. We’re also truly proud and honoured to be media partners for the 2014 event – which also marks the event’s 25th anniversary.
In celebration of all this – and in anticipation for the 2014 festival and its many announcements still to come – we thought we’d look back at my 10 favourite interviews from the last 4 years of Bluesfest.
