Brisbane-based duo DZ Deathrays have just released a film clip for their single “Rad Solar”. The video was filmed at the same house party which the band recorded their latest EP ‘Brutal Tapes’ at. It’s pretty damn rock and roll.
The video was filmed by Noel Smyth and edited by Simon Ridley. The band are getting some well deserved hype at the moment, including being placed 8th on NME’s top 50 best new bands of 2011. They’re about to tour with Dananananaykroyd and Children Collide, they’ve been nominated for a couple of Queensland Music Awards, and there’ll be some more tour announcements made later in the year.
