New Music Video Monday! with We Are Augustines, PNAU, Lykke Li, Buck 65, Wagons, Arctic Monkeys and Alessi's Ark!

Happy Music Video Monday! We get quite a lot of music videos here at the AU review, so we thought we’d start putting together a weekly article to ensure that you see all the fun stuff we’re getting to watch!

First up is PNAU. You may have heard their new single “The Truth” oscillating throughout the universe, and now the official video is finally here! Shot by L.A. outfit Skinny, the video is pretty spectacular. You can grab the track here: http://bit.ly/PNAU_iTunes

Next, we introduce you to We Are Augustines, a band who rose from the ashes of Pela. Here is “” off their forthcoming album Rise Ye Sunken Ships. The album was written and recorded when Pela still existed, documenting perhaps the most traumatic period of Billy McCarthy’s life. To avoid the morbid, let’s just say it involved way too many deaths for one person to deal with. This will make for an interesting album – and we already love the below track, “Chapel Song”!

We take a moment now away from music videos to bring you a special piece of footage featuring our FAVOURITE Hip Hop Folker, Buck 65. He has made a mini documentary/interview that takes a quick look into his 20 year career. We chatted with the man himself at SXSW and he certainly is in a reflective period…

Here is the suitably odd-ball video for Wagons‘ new single “I Blew It” taken from their new album Rumble, Shake And Tumble. The highly entertaining clip was directed by Natalie Vandendungen.

Next, here is the video for ‘Sadness Is A Blessing’ from the amazing Lykke Li Album – Wounded Rhymes. The clip is stunningly shot, directed by Tarik Saleh and starring the beautiful Lykke herself. Enjoy!

Here is the video to the new Alessi’s Ark single “Maybe I Know” – a wonderful interpretation of the 60’s pop classic by Leslie Gore. ‘Maybe I Know’ is taken from Alessi’s forthcoming album Time Travel which is out now on Bella Union…

And finally, Arctic Monkeys have released the video for their first single “Don’t Sit Down ‘Cause I’ve Moved Your Chair”. It’s the first taken from the upcoming album Suck It And See, after the viral track “Brick By Brick” was released earlier this year.
