In 2009, the iconic UK rock band Oasis famously imploded after a heated fallout between the Gallagher brothers, Noel and Liam. With their intense sibling rivalry spilling out in public through interviews and social media spats, a reunion seemed highly unlikely. That is, until today.
It all started with cryptic hints from both Noel and Liam on their social media accounts, teasing a major announcement. Fans went into a frenzy, speculating about what could possibly be brewing. Many considered the possibility of anniversary album or special edition release, with the idea of a reunion seeming far too good to be true. But as of a few hours ago, all of our hopes and dreams came true with the dup confirming a 2025 reunion tour across Ireland and the UK. This massive tour marks the revival of the band that defined the 90s with hits like “Wonderwall,” “Don’t Look Back in Anger,” and “Champagne Supernova.”
Just hours after the news broke, Liam Gallagher took to Twitter, writing, “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.”
Currently, the “Live ’25” tour features 14 dates across Ireland and the UK, with no promises of additional dates/cities. The official band lineup is under wraps and no new music is confirmed- but we rejoice nonetheless!
Tickets will go on sale to the general public at 9am BST on Saturday, August 31st. We anticipate that tickets will sell out extremely quickly, so be prepared! You can check out ticketing info and buy tickets (From August 31) HERE.
