Angie McMahon returned to Melbourne in full force for night three of her sold-out Forum takeover. The hometown show was filled with warmth, the crowd holding space for McMahon just as much as she was for them. The trajectory of her 2023 record Light, Dark, Light Again is well known by now, earning her incredible critical success, leading to her taking the Making it Through Tour around the country and New Zealand. The whole set was bursting with love and honesty, as is a hallmark of McMahon’s songwriting, with friends and artists, including support Annie-Rose Maloney, joining her onstage throughout the night. There’s no doubt this Forum run will be one to remember for a long time to come.
