Charlie Collins launched her latest single, “Fuck It” at Lazybones Lounge in Marrickville last night. It was a sold-out gig, which was filled with many highlights. The visceral “Fuck It” was definitely one of them. Her band was super-tight, and high-energy.
Meg Mac made a guest appearance, to duet on “Honey Can We Run Away”, filling in for Kasey Chambers who is on the recorded version. Mitch Sexty, from Angeles, also sang on the heartbreak “No more to lose”.
The band was supported by Angeles and Sydney-favourites, The Sunday Estate.
