Dear Seattle brought the final show of their Someday tour to Crowbar in Sydney on Friday night. It was sold-out and came with a stellar undercard, with STUMPS, Horror My Friend and Sophisticated Dingo in support.
The final show of a tour is often raucous with all the elements turned up to eleven, and this was no exception. The band was pumped and so was the crowd. A particularly poignant moment was when Kyle Fisher (lead singer of STUMPS) – joined the band to help out with “I Keep Dreaming”, a song that Brae (Fisher, lead singer of Dear Seattle) had written about their fathers’ unexpected and tragic loss of life when they were youngsters. There was nary a dry eye in the house.
Bruce was there to bring you these photos.
