On Thursday night at The Rose Hotel in Sydney, as the rain bucketed down, a select few were invited to enjoy the sweet sounds of Ash Grunwald, the ambassador for the new Guinness Live Thursdays project, which will see one up-and-coming Australian musician flown to Dublin for Arthur’s Day!
Ash played five tracks, and showed us that it doesn’t matter if he’s playing to thousands of people or a select few: he’s going to work hard to get you involved in his music – be it a simple clap or a more precise sing along. His set closed with his popular cover of Tom Waits’ “Goin’ Out West”.
