Lime Cordiale are currently touring the country, and this weekend played a brace of shows at the renovated Enmore Theatre in Sydney.
It was a show worth waiting for, with their catchy songs being incredibly well received. “Screw Loose” was anything but, and was one of my favourites. It showed them to be totally in control of their universe.
Their cover of the Divinyls classic “I Touch Myself” was also one of many highlights. An added bonus was the appearance of Idris Elba who joined them on stage and rapped along to a new unreleased tune.
The band was supported by two exciting up and coming acts, Budjerah, and Mia Rodriguez, for which this was only her second live performance. Both of them were excellent and showed considerable poise and maturity.
