Last night Vodafone hosted the “Summer Beats Party” at Beach Haus in Sydney to launch the new HTC XL & XE smartphones in partnership with Beats by Dr. Dre (“the headphones for music’s A-List”). We headed along and got to play with the new phones (what massive screens they have!), and listen in on the Dr. Dre headphones (you can really pump up the bass on them…).
But most importantly we were there for the music, and enjoyed 10 DJs (including well known names like Mike Who) playing short sets, which were then voted on by the crowd. The favourite DJ then won $1,000 for their chosen charity. A surprise set by Canberra’s The Aston Shuffle followed as we partied well into the night. Here are some photos from the night!
