Welcome to yet again, another feature!
It came to me like a dream. The idea that it’s possible to have a multitude of tracks with the same title but have different contexts within them and I couldn’t be prouder of showing you two fine examples of what I’m on about. Just a word of warning though, there will be a one letter difference between the titles…
Earlier this year, recently expanded Baltimore band Dead Mellotron made waves as they released new single, “Stranger”, from the shiny and glossy LP, Glitter. This album has already become a favourite for the year!

To add to the shoegaze haze, Deerhunter guitarist, Lockett Pundt, is the frontman (or only man) of Lotus Plaza, one of the most exciting projects we’ve heard so far this year.
The first track to be released from the latest album, Spooky Action at a Distance is entitled “Strangers”, which you may listen to below.

Coincidentally, both are signed with London-based label, Sonic Cathedral, and are at home amongst good company with the likes of Atlas Sound, Beach House and more.
The thought of differentiating the two featured songs is like a parent being asked which child is their favourite. It’s impossible to do!
However, I highly recommend you listen to both albums, as you will not be disappointed!
