Last in the country in 2018 and now on the precipice of releasing their fourth album, legends Shame are headed back to Australia for a run of headline, supporting and festival slots.
Slotting in to replace Wunderhorse in support of Fontaines DC on their own headline national tour, the five-piece post-punk band from England are sure to bring their aggressive, shouty and fantastic best to a variety of sweaty club and theatre shows, through to festival stages and some of the country’s most iconic venues.
Having released two albums since their last visit (2021’s brooding Drunk Tank Pink and 2023’s Food For Worms), tickets to their headline shows are sure to move fast, with fans frothing to get their first taste of the band in more than half a decade.
With a setlist sure to feature a mixed bag of their biggest tracks, including “One Rizla”, “Dust on Trial”, “Six-Pack” and “Adderall” as well as hopefully some deeper cuts (fingers crossed for the brilliant “Station Wagon”), it’s fair to say these shows could be some of the year’s best.
