Sheila E. lines up two exclusive Australian headline shows for December

Already announced for the Meredith Music Festival this year, Sheila E. has also confirmed that she will be playing two extra gigs while out in Australia. Predictably, they’re for Sydney and Melbourne BUT, these ones are definitely going to be worth the money/travel. While her work with Prince is iconic, Sheila E.’s stamp on popular music over the years cannot go unrecognised; as one of the best drummers in the world, she’s worked with some of the business’ biggest names including Marvin Gaye, Lionel Richie, Beyonce and Ringo Starr.

For the film fans, Sheila E. linked back up with Hans Zimmer to provide percussion for the orchestral soundtrack for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Of course, Sheila’s collaborations and history with Prince is unforgettable, as were the epic live shows she was a part of with the late pop star.
