Singapore’s post-BIGSOUND conference All That Matters announces its 2018 program: Here are the highlights

Kicking off just as Brisbane’s BIGSOUND ends, Singapore’s All That Matters conference is Asia’s biggest entertainment conference. This year, the event is bringing some of the biggest guests from different entertainment industries back to Singapore’s Ritz-Carlton Hotel.

Notable this year are the amount of new names the event will be hosting. In fact, this year’s conference will see 75% brand new speakers covering a wide range of topics across all 5 conference streams – Music, Sports, Gaming, Digital and Marketing.

Gaming Matters will see the likes of Kevin Lin, the co-founder of Twitch and Sammie Kang, North American Community lead of PUBG Corp discussing the future of the games industry and esports, while Sports Matters brings ONE Championship founder and CEO Chatri Sityodtong and Greg Hooton, vice president of IMG Events. The Digital and Marketing streams will discuss the current Asian start-up culture and connecting with brand audiences.

The Music Matters stream sees Paul Smith (Spotify) and Jonathan Dickins (Manager of Adele) as keynote speakers and this year highlights the ever-growing music market, China, across multiple Music Matters forums with Tencent Music Entertainment as the China-related forum sponsor. And the Music Matters Live festival will close each night, with showcasing acts – including some Aussies – to be announced soon.

The full program is available HERE.

Here are some highlights from 2017’s All That Matters conference:

The All That Matters Content Only pass (US$649) will give you access to the conference sessions from each stream along with access to networking tools and events on top of access to the Music Matters Live festival; while the VIP pass (US$1299) gives you the above plus:-

  • Lunch & coffee during networking breaks
  • Entry to select VIP-only networking & evening events
  • VIP access to Music Matters Live and VIP parties

The conference will be held at The Ritz-Carlton in Singapore from September 7th until 12th. If you’re a BIGSOUND delegate considering making the trip to Singapore, Singapore Airlines flies direct from Brisbane to Singapore, and Scoot flies direct from the Gold Coast, with flights as low as A$149 each way. Scoot also flies out of Sydney, and Singapore flies out of most airports in Australia, including Darwin and Canberra.
