The Prasil brothers return with their new single as Amistat, in “The Coward”. Having spent much of this year on the road both internationally through Europe, Amistat didn’t waste time in rest on their laurels, returning to Australia this month for a run of end of year shows.
With “The Coward”, Amistat is rich in quality similar to the style of Ben Howard and Nick Mulvey. Quick to wrap the listener up with its lyricism, Josef Prasil describes the origins of “The Coward” as being quite personal.
“”The Coward” is about knowing who you are deep inside but not being able to let it out. People are very fast with making assumptions and judging you based on what you look like but little do they know about what’s inside of the person.”
