Single of the Day: Fractures “Alchemy” (2016)

Fractures is definitely one BIGSOUND artist we know we can’t leave the event without seeing. The latest from the multi-instrumentalist in “Alchemy” definitely plays up to its title, the melting and purifying of elements in producing a precious and in this case, golden, end result.

A perfect follow on to Fractures’ recent collaboration with Set Mo, “Alchemy” sees Mark Zito flex his writing muscle prominently, while his already well-established talent as a producer and musician continues to flourish. It’s clever, dark and evocative. Rich in texture, the single is one that’s hooked us in and has made us even more eager to see Fractures do it justice at BIGSOUND next month.

In the meantime, have a suss of “Alchemy” below!
