Harrison Whitford, according to his Facebook, doesn’t know how to write a bio, so it’s probably a good thing he’s sticking to making some lovely tunes for us to listen to, right? The New Yorker relocated to Nashville a few years ago to pursue his career in music and as far as songwriting technique and some classic Americana/folk sounds go, that part of the States is a pretty clever area to gravitate to.
His new single “Take a Walk” encompasses both of the above; it’s an easy listen and the vocals are soothing in that Ryan Adams-y way. Which works, as Whitford has been working within those circles recently, too. Stay tuned for this lad and take a listen to his new joint in the meantime!
