Single of the Day: Kira Puru “Tension” (2017)

Finally.

Kira Puru has kept us waiting for a hot minute but today, she’s released that “Tension”. The lines write themselves. Her talent is one of the country’s strongest, yet Puru’s journey to blistering solo artist has been one of delicately placed moves. After featuring on tracks with the likes of Urthboy, Paul Kelly and Illy, Puru has stepped into her own light with “Tension”, her debut single.

Instantly hypnotic to the ear, “Tension” is brimming with heat, deeply set in Puru’s sizzling delivery. Strong production meets a thumping beat, while Puru tempts the listener to just give in.
