Single of the Day: Kodiak Empire “Sun” (2016)

Today’s Single of the Day comes from Brisbane alt-rockers Kodiak Empire. Their new single “Sun” pulls in prog rock influences reminiscent of the likes of Karnivool, with the five-piece demonstrating their tightness as a collective as well as their incredible technical ability.

The band is launching their new single with a tour kicking off at The Zoo in Brisbane, before heading to Sydney and Melbourne, pulling together an impressive lineup of supports for each show. The new single is lifted off their forthcoming release Silent Bodies, which is out the 5th of August.
