Young producer and triple j Unearthed wünderkind Kuren has been impressing audiences in regional areas recently, supporting Illy as he takes Two Degrees round the traps but now, Kuren steps further into the spotlight with his new single, “Mastercraft”.
A commanding effort by the emerging producer and songwriter, “Mastercraft” is the first track we’re hearing Kuren’s own vocals come into play, while the production behind it is another strong step forward. Falling in line with acclaimed sets at Splendour and with Slumberjack recently, not to mention his recent signing to ONETWO, Kuren’s latest is an unsurprising banger to some, but a refreshing taste of talent to many others.
