Single of the Day: Marian Hill ft. Lauren Jauregui “Back To Me” (2016)

We’ve been vocal about our love for Marian Hill through this year and last – Jeremy Lloyd and Samantha Gongol have generated some serious heat with 2016’s ACT ONE album and within the last week, they’ve struck upon another piece of fire with new single, “Back To Me”. Linking up with Fifth Harmony‘s Lauren Jauregui, the track has been quick to capture the attention of fans and the online blog world, hitting #1 on iTunes’ Electronic Top Songs Chart, not to mention earning praise in the States from FADER and Billboard.

The song itself is sexy and icy at the same time; the groove is bluesy while Jauregui’s vocal lifts the song out of that almost trademark slinky territory that Marian Hill have been rocking with, and adds another level of depth. Made for the charts, clearly, “Back To Me” is a winner.
