Single of The Day: Morning Harvey “Holy Gun” (2017)

Since forming in 2014, Brisbane trio Morning Harvey have been building a diverse fan-base, through their charismatic live shows and even more charismatic music. Their latest single, “Holy Gun”, is no exception, the smooth track driven with just the right amount of bravado, guitar, and synth.

Taken from their forthcoming debut album, due out mid-2017, this single promises all the things we’ve loved from Morning Harvey over the years, distilled to snippets of musical bliss.

Front-man and chief songwriter Spencer White explains, “Holy Gun is another story I wanted to tell. I don’t believe it has any hidden meaning or intent but it does paint a pretty grim storyline which I try to pursue in my lyrics every so often”.
