Canberra quartet Slow Turismo have brought us maximum chill in their latest single, “You Were Dead”. Their innovative indie rock has seen twelve months of sold out home town shows, and this single reiterates just why.
Benjamin Woolner (SAFIA) produced this single, his touch evident in the smooth and quirky sounds, a combination of both digital audio and analogue tape in the recording process. The ability to pick and choose their sound, as well as experiments with synths and amps, led to the off-kilter and dreamy feel of the track.
Slow Turismo are touring to support this single release, and have eluded to some exciting things to come… watch this space.
