Fucking ay. WAAX‘s Marie DeVita is one of my favourite humans ever and even though I’ve never met her before (which, yes, sounds creepy as hell), I am consistently reminded how much of a fan I’ve become through this year with each musical update the Brisbane band gives us. On their new single “Same Same”, WAAX dial things up another notch in presenting just under 3 and half minutes of visceral and hectic rock music.
The guitars go hard, DeVita’s vocals border on destructive and the final result? Catchy as hell music that will most likely prove to be a fan favourite before long.
