Meet Philadelphia based outfit Literature, and their track “New Jacket”, taken from their second album Chorus (Out now on Slumberland Records). At first, it sounds like so much of the same lo-fi “we want to be in the 80s” sort of band that have been floating around the traps for the last few years. But something changes about 30 seconds in… and again a minute thirty… oh those riffs! So sweet. And just you wait until its climax. It’s a very, very good one. Excuse me while I put this track on repeat for forever.
