Aussie emcee Profecy made quite a few waves with his last release – 2010’s Let The Music Play. Two years on, Profecy is set to release a follow-up EP in late September, and he’s just dropped the first single from it – “Walk With Me” – for free download. Enjoy it below!
For those unfamiliar with Profecy, he grew up on the NSW coast in Lismore – a town not famous for its music scene. He turned his garage into a studio and started honing his skills before he moved to Brisbane, where he is now pursuing his career in the music industry. Somewhere along the way, he met American hip hop producer DJ Corbett, who produced this track. Corbett has previously worked with artists like Saigon, Royce Da 5’9 and Bun B. Corbett, and shares his vocal talents on the chorus. According to the press release: “It’s a bass-heavy, chilled-out track yet provides a deep emotional message”. Download it for free below!
