South Australia’s finest emerging talent to be showcased across the city’s East End via Scouted

Some of Adelaide’s best emerging talent will be put front in centre for national industry to get a taste of with the newly announced Scouted showcase series, announced by MusicSA this week. To be unveiled in conjunction with this year’s AIR Awards and the music industry conference that has also been confirmed for Adelaide this July, Scouted will be held over two days (July 27th and 28th) in the city’s east end district.

Hosting each band will be the Exeter, Crown & Anchor, Producers Bar and the Tandanya Cultural Centre. Says MusicSA’s Lisa Bishop, the opportunity for bands to showcase during Scouted is a prime one indeed.

“With key identities from the Australian music industry in town for the AIR Awards, this is the perfect opportunity to highlight the wealth of talent that SA holds.”

Selected to perform as part of Scouted are the following Adelaide artists:

HEAPS GOOD FRIENDS
YOUNG OFFENDERS
BEC STEVENS
ELECTRIC FIELDS
MANE
TOM WEST
ALANA JAGT

A limited number of tickets are available to the public for $20 (plus booking fee) – Scouted runs from 5pm through until 10pm each night.
