Start planning! Final Music Cities Convention schedule now available for Melbourne

It’s coming! The 2018 Music Cities Convention will be taking over Arts Centre Melbourne for the first Australasian event of the building franchise, giving music industry folk from all over the world the opportunity to converge as this year’s edition theme stands out: Music as Infrastructure.

Members will explore the relationship between music ecosystems and urban life, how to insert music into every element of life and more. All this aside, it’s also a perfect opportunity for local industry to meet international and form invaluable connections.

Featured speakers include Helen Marcou (The Bakehouse Theatre/SLAM), Shain Shapiro (Sound Diplomacy), Archie Roach and more, as multiple backgrounds come together as people from all corners of the industry share their experiences, challenged and stories from their careers.

The final schedule for Melbourne’s Music Cities Convention has been released, and can be viewed here.

The Music Cities Convention runs April 19th and 20th. For more information about the conference, visit www.musiccitiesconvention.com.
