An Australian Music Hall of Fame is finally coming
After 15 years of lobbying from Australian music big-names Michael Gudinski, Molly Meldrum and Kylie Minogue, the Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews has finally promised to provide a $10 million funding for a new Australian Music Hall of Fame. The financial fund will be provided through the state’s “Music Works” program.
Housed inside the Victorian Arts Centre on St Kilda Road, the new Hall of Fame will be built as part of the brand new Australian Music Vault, scheduled to open in November next year.
