Band Name:

Genre:
Rock

Members & their roles:
Dylan Mitchell: Vocals
Jules Wucherer: Guitar
Jordan Glass: Bass
Theo Henry: Drums + More-In-Tune-Vocals-Than-Dyl.

What music or artists inspired you?
Everyone and everything, Jordan used to play in a death-metal band and Jules used to play in a glam-rock group… Actually he still does. But we sound like nothing of the sort. A drunk guy at our show once said we sound like the love-child of the Foo Fighters and Powderfinger, with Tom Petty as the frontman, and we look as good as Taylor Swift. On that note, Jules just wants to go on ONE dinner/breakfast date with Taylor Swift, if you can call that an inspiration.

How did the band get started?
After auditioning to sing in a band Theo was involved in in 2011, I (Dylan) approached him at Big Day Out during Soundgarden’s set and asked if his rhythm section wanted to join a band I was starting at the time… Theo agreed but Ben (the bass player) was moving to Lismore.. He was way too talented for us anyway! We found Jules through my uncle, who was in the glam-rock cover band called “Glitterus”.. Jordan (questionably) responded to our tongue-in-cheek Ad on Gumtree about “ Bass Player Wanted Who Only Cares About Private Jets, Money and Disregard for Anything Musical”, and voila: Cranky Alice.

How would you best describe your live show:
Jules once got into a stripping competition mid-show.

What shows do you have coming up?
We play at Whisky Jerx Wayne’s World Themed Bar (Unicorn Bar, 106 Oxford Street, Sydney) every weekend.
Keep an eye on Facebook for more dates.

Tell us about your latest release:
‘What’s It Like’ is a track about Australian politics and the people in charge… It’s sort-of an anti-bullying campaign on a much larger scale than a schoolyard.

Where can I get your music?
iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, Dyl’s mum’s house… etc.
