“I’ve been wanting to play BIGSOUND for a long time. I still kind of am a young artist I guess, so it’s cool to have the opportunity to play here”, says 22-year-old artist. After an intensive touring schedule, the singer is grateful for audiences respond to his music, saying; “its awesome to get those opportunities, it’s what hoped for when I was releasing the music”.
Festivals vs. live shows is always a hot debate topic. Harts is no stranger to both and his opinion, there is a definite difference. Live shows welcomes more album material and singles, on festivals he states; “festivals lean on stronger radio hits”, complete with more rock and guitar work, but the live mixing and looping is definitely a constant.
Plans for the rest of the year see Harts taking a brief break due to writing material for the second album, with hopes that it will be released early next year. In the meantime, the US beckons as he’ll be heading to New York and Los Angeles for Culture Collide.
