In Austin for SXSW’s Captiva/SpringBreakATX Showcases at The Rooftop on Sixth with her live band The What, Leah Capelle stopped by the AU review pop-up venue for a quick chat about her latest, self-titled EP and her hopes for the future: “I’m hoping to tour this summer… I’d like to be on the road a lot more.” Click through for the full interview.
With the AU pop-up venue being her first stop at SXSW, Leah hadn’t yet had the chance to check out the event however, she said “but I’m really excited to explore the rest of the festival.” We asked Leah about her latest EP, to which she responded: “it’s the first album I’ve ever made… it’s comprised of 6 songs that I wrote, the first one is the single ‘Would You Know’… they’re all songs written on my experience.” Check out the video below!
