Larry sits down with two incredible voices: Broadway legend and tenor Mandy Patinkin and the iconic baritone of Nathan Gunn. We talk about discovering art music, how they put together their show, what it means to them to be performing in Australia (a return for Mandy, a debut for Gunn) – in particular at the Sydney Opera House!
In the second clip we ask them what their favourite performances have been, and in response they reflect on their joy of performing each and every night, and how they could never “phone it in”.
They perform at the Hamer Hall in Melbourne tonight (Nov 21) ahead of the ASB Theatre in Auckland (Nov. 24), the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall (Nov. 26) and the QPAC Concert Hall in Brisbane (Nov. 28).
