Last July saw The AU Review venture to the Quebec City Summer Festival in Quebec, Canada where we caught up with New York based outfit The London Souls. Having just performed, Chris, Tash and Stu talk about a scary incident during their show, appreciative Canadian crowds, the history of the band and what’s next for them on an international scale.
With Canada being a new location for the band to conquer, Chris comments on their experiences touring the country so far and how audiences have reacted, “It’s been hugely positive. Brand new people have never heard us and they’re freaking out – in a good way…It’s been overwhelmingly positive and they love us, they were like where have you been all this time?”
As for labelling themselves, Tash added to avoid any descriptions and just embrace the music, “Have an open mind and come experience it. I wouldn’t put too much description on it other than rock ‘n’ roll and you should be moved. I hope. That’s the plan, just expression and that’s it.”
