Listening to all the fantastic speakers and checking out all the amazing bands at this year’s BIGSOUND is going to be a thirsty job. To help you out, here’s a list of the AU review’s favourite Brisbane coffee shops and bars to sustain you over the conference.
Three Monkeys
Slightly more of a hike away and across the river in West End, Three Monkeys is one of the most delicious cafes in Brisbane for coffees, breakfasts, lunches and late night snacks.

When: Early to late.
Where: 58 Mollison St, West End
Flamingo Cafe
Located in Brisbane’s answer to Melbourne’s laneways, Flamingo Cafe is a haven for hipsters, business people and uni students with vegetarian options always available.

When: Breakfast, lunches and dinner on selected evenings.
Where: 5 Winn Ln, Fortitude Valley
Tippler’s Tap
No doubt BigSound is going to attract a bunch of craft beer lovers so if you find yourself hankering’ for some delicious cold beers, Tippler’s Tap has an amazing bottles and on tap selection. Best to arrive early if you want to eat though.

Yard Bird Ale House
The best chicken wings in Brisbane, seriously, they’re amazing. Possibly not the greatest venue if you’re a massive foodie, but if you want some great chicken wings, beer or cider look no further than the Yard Bird.

Where: 6/24 Martin St, Fortitude Valley
Cobbler Whiskey Bar
Another West End hot spot so if you are heading over to Three Monkeys whilst in Brisbane, why not finish your evening with some delicious whiskey at Cobblers.
Urbanspoon Rating: The Cobbler is so brand spanking new Urbanspoon haven’t even caught on.
When: Evenings until late.
Where: 7 Browning St, West End.
