The Wanderer Festival will be returning to Pambula on the beautiful Sapphire Coast of NSW this September, and the first artist announcement is a corker.
Leading the charge is indie-rock darlings The Jungle Giants. They are festival favourites, with their catchy rock hooks and incredible vocals from lead singer Sam Hales. Their set at Splendour in 2022 on the main stage was one for the ages.
Joining them is the feel-good firestorm that is Spiderbait. It’s a rare opportunity to catch these legends, and their pulsating energetic show will be a highlight. With number one hits such as “Buy Me a Pony”, “Calypso” and making “Black Betty” sound as their own, a frantic and pulsating good time is pretty much guaranteed.
From the USA comes Kevin Morby who brings with him a back catalogue of seven albums imbued with his gift of story-telling and lush arrangements.
Lisa Mitchell will be welcomed back onto the festival stage as she continues of refine and develop her musical artistry. And for those that love to dance, the high-energy and captivating Melbourne Ska Orchestra will satisfy you to the max.
The full line-up will feature over 70 artists, and will include music, art, comedy, theatre, circus and artisan workshops over three packed days and nights. The Sapphire Coast fully gets on board with the festival, so if you head down, consider staying a few days longer and experience more of what this beautiful part of NSW has to offer.
In a statement, festival organiser Simon Daly writes: “We were amazed by Wanderer’s reach last year with so many people travelling to enjoy not only Wanderer, but this stunning part of the world. With the dates falling on a long weekend for most of our audience, we know people will want to secure their tickets and start planning ahead.”
“Wanderer has already built up a really strong following and people know to expect a diverse and well curated program of established artists as well as hot emerging talent set in a stunning, boutique festival environment that produces a really special vibe. We really appreciated everyone getting behind Wanderer right from the get go, so the presale is a kind of thank you to them.”
Tickets for Wanderer are priced according to age-group and the presale ranges from $40-$120 for a single day ticket and $100-$310 for a three-day festival pass.
