The party continues at Mt Duneed Estate as RÜFÜS, Bloc Party, Disclosure and more wrap up day three of Falls Festival in Victoria

As a way of preparing the crowds for the 38 degree New Year’s Eve still to come, the Falls Festival at Mt Duneed reached scorching levels during its Wednesday programming.

Acts who should’ve had larger turnouts (GCJ, Ngaiire) bore the brunt of it, with punters opting to stay at camp until sunset or aim for the shaded areas.

Hein Cooper and Oh Wonder performed impressive sets earlier in the day, while Young Fathers, Courtney Barnett and the Melbourne Ska Orchestra proved the strength of the line up of Day 3.

A triple whammy of RÜFÜS, Bloc Party and Disclosure took the main valley stage well into the early hours of Thursday morning, the U.K. brothers in particular smashing out a well received set featuring cuts from new album Caracal, all going down to solid applause.
