Legendary Australian seminal punk rock band The Saints have announced new dates for an ever expanding Australian tour, celebrating their music released between 1973 to 1978. The tour is now set to coincide with the release of a brand new (I’m) Stranded vinyl Boxset release.
This version of the group includes original founding members Ed Kuepper and Ivor Hay, who will be joined by Mark Arm (Mudhoney) on vocals, Peter Oxley (Sunnyboys) and Mick Harvey (The Birthday Party/Bad Seeds).
Formed in 1973 from the suburbs of Brisbane, The Saints exploded on the scene with “(I’m) Stranded”, one of the very early punk songs, featured on their debut album of the same name. The Saints will play songs off this record, as well as Eternally Yours and Prehistoric Sounds. And the tour will coincide with a special re-rerelease of their debut (I’m) Stranded with a new vinyl boxset. This will be the first time the record has been remastered for vinyl in over 40 years.

The Saints (I’m) Stranded boxset will be released on November 15 on In The Red via Universal Music Australia and is available for pre-order here
The box set is one for the vinyl buffs. It was spearheaded by Feel Presents and Saints founder Ed Kuepper, and features 4 x vinyl long players covering all the band’s studio and live recordings from 1976 thru 1977 and includes:
- The iconic debut album remastered for vinyl for the first time in over 40 years
- A five-song live performance from Paddington Town Hall Sydney 3.4.1977 appearing on vinyl for the first time
- A full live performance from the Hope & Anchor Front Row Festival, London November 1977 appearing on vinyl for the first time
- All three tracks from the 1977 This Perfect Day 12″ single and all four tracks from the 1977 1-2-3-4 double 7 single
- The previously unreleased 1976 demo mix of the full (I’m) Stranded album.
