Melbourne band The Sugarcanes are quickly generating some serious hype around the release of their debut album (due out this Friday) – a result of solid single releases and fire live shows that have been demonstrative of a brilliant rock and soul fusion that have left locals around the place wanting more.
Well now, we’re going to get it. The Sugarcanes are hitting the road through June with their debut self-titled album, taking their live show down the East Coast and to Adelaide. For a band that have been around since only 2014, the love that has formed for The Sugarcanes off the back of gigs with the likes of The Smith Street Band, as well as their own headline shows in Melbourne, is something we’d expect for a group to have been doing the hard yards live for way longer.
Can’t wait to hear what’s yet to come from easily one of the most exciting bands we’ve been keeping an eye on in recent months!
