In a fortnight The Workers Club is set to be lit up by the Rolling Stone Live Lodge for another year. Today Rolling Stone have unveiled the third and final lineup of artists, and it’s big.
Kasey Chambers will close out the final night of the event on Sunday October 9. AFL Grand Final Night, aka Friday October 1st, will boast a huge line-up of funk and soul headed by Sex on Toast.
The 2nd installment of Live Lodge speciality The Future Is Now happens on Tuesday 4 October. This year it features some of the finest young Australian talent, including Woodes, ethereal electronic pop producer BEL and Huntly, who delivers earnest lyricism merged with heart-stopping rhythms.
Guitar Masterclass is back on Wednesday 5th October. Run by Ashley Naylor from Even/RocKwiz and Alexander Laska from Kingswood, attendees will learn all the ins and outs of their setups, styles and techniques.
Saturday and Sunday afternoons throughout the event will see the return of Afternoon Delights, bringing you the best of local talents with door times early enough to make it home for dinner. With the likes of The Cherry Dolls, Drown This City, 30/70, Arthur Penn & The Funky Ten, Draught Dodgers and Rat & Co, that promises to be a great way to burn an afternoon in Melbourne town.
