Save the date, besties – Brisbane’s iconic The Zoo is having a monster send-off on Friday June 7th.
With the legendary venue set to close its doors in early July, we’ve been waiting for word of the official goodbye party, and, while we don’t know much about ZOOLOVE at this stage, we’re certain it’s going to be an absolute banger.
Presented by Joc Curran, The Zoo’s OG owner, the event description has kept things tantalisingly vague ahead of tickets going on sale:
Dear Friends of the Zoo,
Firstly, thank you for being you and for having loved the Zoo. Let’s make one last impossible thing happen. Getting to share a moment in time together, to celebrate and say goodbye.
We have asked 65 artists, who are dear friends of the Zoo to help us put on a show that will send her off “Zooie” style.
Take a leap of faith with us and hope to see you on the dance floor…
One thing is for sure though – this is going to be a hell of a goodbye.
ZOOLOVE takes place at The Zoo, Brisbane on Friday June 7th.
