Thom Yorke is coming to Australia

Thom Yorke

Thom Yorke has chosen some iconic venues for his inaugural solo tour. The frontman for Radiohead will be heading down to Australia in October and November to play shows at the Sydney Opera House and Sidney Myer Music Bowl.

He is best known of course for the nine albums of Radiohead, multiple Grammy awards, as a musician he has influenced countless bands that have followed. Yorke has also released three solo studio records, headed up the supergroup project Atoms For Peace, and has created a number of film scores.

The last Radiohead album (A Moon Shaped Pool) was back in 2016, but Yorke certainly hasn’t been idle since then. He has been recording and touring with The Smile, which includes Jonny Greenwood, and they have recently dropped their second studio-album Wall Of Eyes. Amongst many other highlights, in 2022 he wrote two original tracks for the series finale of Peaky Blinders.

Whenever Radiohead has visited Australia, tickets have sold out in the blink of an eye, so don’t delay on this one. General sale tickets kick off on Wednesday. We have all the links below. Unfortunately, it looks like it’s just Sydney and Melbourne, so it’s a great excuse to plan that mini-break if you are from the other states.
