Copenhagen duo ARES (Louise Andersen and Line Mortensen) have tapped into their inner supervillains with new track “Burn“. It’s a deliciously dark slice of electro-pop, with a catchy chorus inspired by Heath Ledger’s Joker.
Of the track, ARES said:
“We were playing with the image of setting everything you own on fire and just starting over. Sometimes you can get the feeling that life is planned out for you and that it’s all too predictable.That is why we wrote “Burn”, to deal with the doubt and the worries that it can cause, and to create a safe space to just dance and let it all go for a moment.”
