Pop punk behemoths blink-182 are back with new track “Blame It On My Youth”, and our teenage selves could not be more excited!
blink-182 consists of original members Mark Hoppus (vocals/bass) and Travis Barker (drums), with Alkaline Trio‘s Matt Skiba (vocals/guitar) now permanently filling the spot left by departing founder Tom DeLonge.
“Blame It On My Youth” is the first track from their as-yet unrevealed eighth studio album, which is set to be a little more experimental than we’ve come to expect from the reformed group. We can’t wait!
blink-182 have teamed up with Lil Wayne for a co-headline US tour, beginning in June this year. No word yet on any Australian dates, but with the band unwilling to tour without Barker, still unable to step on a plane after the 2008 helicopter crash that left four people dead, we’re likely to be waiting a little longer yet.
But we’ve still got the music, and it’s as infectious as ever! Check it out below, complete with lyric video from graffiti artist RISK.
