On the cusp of releasing their second studio album, 14 Steps To A Better You, Lime Cordiale have released a superbly catchy tune off it, “Screw Loose”. It’s a fun tune, as is the accompanying video. The video is a mixture of animation and footage of Oli and Louis Leimbach gallivanting around the Blue Mountains. They’ve even thrown in a kookaburra laughing to maintain the authenticity.
The video was created by Jack Shepherd who has worked on many of their earlier videos, in conjunction with Joe Brown who worked on the animation of the “Dirt Cheap” video
The band announced a series of 14 shows at the Oxford Art Factory over the next couple of weeks. Unsurprisingly they sold out quicker than toilet roll at the height of the pandemic panic.
14 Steps to a Better You is out this Friday, 10th July 2020. You can pre-order it HERE
Have a listen and watch. It’s fun. it’s a bit ska, it’s a bit bonkers and I suspect it will be a mainstay in their live sets.
