Sydney pop-punks Sal & The Mandas have returned with their swaggering new single, “Stoic Soul”. Recorded in Sydney’s inner west, the band have teamed with Ben Salmon for a track that is not short on energy, pace or attitude.
With the promise of an EP and an Aussie tour still to come, “Stoic Soul”, builds upon the strong opening salvo of “Smash Repairs” nicely and provides the trio with a great platform to further develop their sound and style. Much like that debut single, “Stoic Soul” is wonderfully punchy, pacey and raucous, especially when that breakdown comes along towards the end of the track. It’s a high energy track, and one that will surely deliver live. I can’t wait to hear what they deliver next.
