Sydney band Sloan Peterson have released a banging new track “Here”, from their forthcoming album, Midnight Love Vol. 2.
It’s a catchy fast-moving track, with beautiful lush vocals. “I wrote ‘Here’ when I was 18, at a time when there was nothing to do but thrash around in a garage playing music, making art and hanging with friends with not a care in the world,” Sloan Peterson explains.
Sloan has had a successful 2018 and 2019 looks like a repeat. She toured with The Kooks on their Australian national tour in January. Her 2018 release of “Our Love” has had more than 500,000 streams on Spotify.
The upcoming album was produced by Chris Collins (Middle Kids/Skeggs) and mixed by Thomas Rawle (DRELLER / Papa Vs Pretty). This album will include the catchy and sassy “New Direction” – a tune which has been given plenty of airplay by triple j.
